Meanwhile, don't forget... this coming Thursday, 10th August, The KL Hardbop Band will be performing at the KLPAC for one night only in conjunction with HSBC's Wind Fest 2006. They are the only jazz band featured in this festival and [to borrow a phrase from Phua Chu Kang] don't pray-pray! This is a kick-ass collective of six uber-talented musos that must not be missed. You'll get to hear some fab swing & hardbop tunes that'll leave you groovin' in your seats and wishing for more once you get a taste of it. You'll also get to hear some excellent originals by David Gomes to be included in his soon-to-be recordedJust Swinging album.
The KL Hardbop Band is co-led by David Gomes & Julian Chan. Guest vocalist for the night is David's significant other, Junji Delfino [aka moi].
