No... Jack Lord's not coming into town but it's Independence Day folks and we, at Top Room, are celebrating it in true Malaysian style. Yes, folks! The Top Room will be taking a holiday this weekend in observance of this momentous event. [Turning 50 is momentous in my book seeing as I'm within walking distance to the big five-oh myself!]
Anyways, The Top Room will resume its jazzy weekend on the 7th & 8th of September with The Michael Veerapen Trio and followed by the first-ever JAM event on the 9th! Keep checking this blog for updates on that.
As mentioned in an earlier post, TTR is taking a month-long hiatus during the fasting month and our regular progamming will resume on the weekend of the 19th to 21st October. Watch out for our exciting year-end calendar!
Now 'nuff said... I'm rushing out to get RM5,000.00 worth of flags to get me some tax rebates next year!
HAPPY 50th MALAYSIA!!!!
