Fever, fever everywhere!!!

Hey all! Two weeks on and football fever seems to have really taken its toll on the live entertainment scene, not just in KL but in neighbouring Singapore as well. Bars & restaurants are empty. And some office chairs too, apparently, after footie diehards stay up to watch those can't-miss-early-morning-matches. Another two weeks and life should go back to normal. Right? Oh would someone please tell me it is so...

But World Cup or not, jazz goes on as usual at The Top Room. This week, the magnetic and captivating Gina returns to the stage with The Eye2Eye Jazz Mix. Those of you who've not had a taste of this mix, do come and check 'em out this weekend. As an added treat, Top Room's pianoman, David Gomes, joins them [subbing for their regular pianist JP Abdullah].

Come and catch fever of a different kind this Friday & Saturday at The Top Room!

The June promotion is still on. All you have to do is spend a minimum of RM 50++ per person on Friday & Saturday night and enjoy a 1-drink minimum charge to enjoy excellent music at The Top Room.

Before I sign off, we just wanna thank everyone who's taken the time to send in their comments and suggestions. We really value all the opinions expressed and we are in the midst of reviewing
our position on pricing, service, etc, etc, etc. Watch this space for updates and anouncements.

Meanwhile, here's what Zalina Lee of kakiseni has to say about her back-to-back weekend tryst with The Top Room "...I had been treated to two very different styles of jazz at the Top Room, and while I have my personal views, I can honestly say this: You’ll be paying to watch some really solid acts. There is no fluffy waffle on that stage. You’ll get your three-set fill of professionals playing jazz as it should be, in all its forms." Thanks Zalina! Glad you approve :). That's all from me for now... Hasta la bye bye and have a great week ahead!!!
