It's November!?! Already?!?!

It hardly seems like a long time since we did our New Year's countdown and now it's almost November... another 8 to 9 weeks and it's the start of another year! But let's not stress over that just yet. Instead, take some time off your usual frenzy that comes with year-end activities.


Start by catching Junji Delfino this first weekend of November together with Willy Rebano aka WilDavid (it's called reinventing the Wil) on piano, Albert Yap on bass and Martin Ngim on drums. Joining Jazzmamma & the boys is special guest vocalist, Scott Scatt, the man with elastic vocal cords. Don't know what I'm talking about? Two nights of foot-stomping, finger-snapping jazz, 2nd & 3rd November, 2007, from 10:30 p.m to 2 a.m. Cover charge RM30 nett.



Plus, on Sunday (the 4th of Nov, from 4 pm to 6 pm) comes our special JAM event, Jazz 101 (A Lesson On Jazz Appreciation) moderated by pianist/educator and JAM Veep, Michael Veerapen. A 2-hour "all-you-ever-wanted-to-know-about-jazz-but-were-afraid-to-ask" session with some of KL's top jazz knowits! Entrance fee is RM 30nett inclusive of a hi-tea platter and free-flow of coffee & tea. That's money well spent, if you ask me!

Immediately following Jazz 101 is our regular Sunday jazz jam session from 6 pm to 9 pm.
