Look! No short skirts, no legs, no cleavages!!!

It's Boys to Men at The Top Room!!!
October 27 & 28

Err... no. This jazz joint is not going down the commercial path where many like to tread... This is the night where three men, who really are boys at heart, will show you what DUDE POWER is all about.

Yup! No skirts and slinky outfits here. This weekend, The Top Room stage is raining men!!

The bedimpled, boyishly impish smile you see here belongs to dashing, debonair Sharizan Borhan, in his 2nd appearance this year at The Top Room! Ok. Officially this is his first as the "first" one he sorta jumped in last minute to fill in for someone else. [Never did get around to thanking you for that one, Sharizan. Thanks!].

This time, the suave crooner is joining forces with two other male species. Saxman Julian Chan...

...is he a boy? is he a man? Girls wonder ... and women wander...... off. LOL. Ok, now that could be a very Sharizan-type joke and, surely, there'll be plenty thrown about this weekend because nothing & no one is spared when SB gets into his element.

The other man to complete this menage-a-testosterone is none other than Top Room's very own David Gomes on piano.

He, of the grey-bearded-respectable-
wiseman-demeanor, is really a young boy at heart. You just need to catch him at the right time and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about!

Someone once quipped that our local male musos look... um... quite Uncle la. I was absolutely floored when I heard that! Now, sad as it is, the reality is that people see only with their eyes, not with their ears. I recommend that you [and that means YOU if you're reading this blog] come to The Top Room and sit back and close your eyes and bask in the gut wrenching goodness of the music you're bound to hear and let your ears begin to see what you want to see. Let your senses free. Escape to a place inside you that you never knew existed. Let the music lead you there...

...and by the way, these three are no UNCLES!

See u at The Top!
