And lastly, check this out. Ian Carey, an established trumpet & flugelhorn player from the Bay Area in SF, recently visited what is, quite possibly, the oldest ongoing jam session in the US at the Mutual Musician's Foundation in Kansas City. Those folks have been at it since the 1930s!!! Now, that's inspiration.
